C.O.P.S.

By the way, do you know where/how I can find Crystal Twist in time for Burning Man?

Depending on where you lived and what stations you watched, you may remember this cartoon from Saturday mornings. I think somebody posted almost every episode of this show on YouTube.

I found the theme song about a year ago on youtube and listened to it every day for a month. It pumped me up!

Murder, extortion, and human trafficking are fine...but drugs? HECK NO FELLA

Replace "drugs" with "internet pirating" and slap that shit back on the air.

this is hardly one of the best propagandas out there. i personally prefer the captain planet episode where Linka's cousin dies of a drug overdose on screen. or the Galaxy High episode where the kid starts speaking like an LA surfer from the 80s. or bravestarrrrrrrrr

Was that crime boss Chief Wiggum's evil twin?

Big mistake here. This show was everything but terrible, and you have a lot of Canadian readers who are going to be all like, "oh yeah This show was fucking AWESOME!"

I remember this terrible show as a kid. It would be on when no other good cartoons were on.

Speaking of Bravestarr, was he in the background of the hallucination? Cuz if drugs turn me into Bravestarr, I'm all about it. Thanks, EIT!

I thought Crystal Twist would help me hallucinate a 10 hour laser eye staring contest. ShadyFace, you're no Heisenberg.

This makes drugs look fun. D:

Was this Canadian? That's why I remember it, though not the lovely trippiness you've added. Can EIT do a non-Transformer transformers mashup (Voltron/Gobots/???) next?

Chief writer: James Ellroy. Big Boss is actually a Mickey Cohen pastiche.

this was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid.

The EIT touch took me awhile to catch on to at first when that loser did his Jew drug.

Also, I dont remember this episode but that was one creepy-ass grey pusher.

Also its funny that grey-dude couldnt be taken down by the cops, yet he still sold at the street level.

@funkicarus - Captain Planet sometimes got downright depressing. I don't know which one is worse - the AIDS episode, or the one set in Northern Ireland during the "Troubles".

This show is Russian and evidence of the ongoing cultural renaissance which flowered after the fall of the U.S.S.R.

"So, you rape babies? Well, at least you don't sell drugs!"

I kept expecting Duane to show up during that junky's trip...or at least Matt Matney.

@Ravenhallow: yes that is Bravestarr; on my vhs copy of this episode they tacked on a couple of trailers at the end, one of which was an awesome looking trailer for Bravestarr.
@Payo: you need to mix it with Edge, which was more commonly available in the year 1999.

@Anonymous - Yeah, where does Baby Rape fall on their crime list?

This show rocked. I remember it very well, even though it only lasted one season.
